Hi, I have a windows 10 pro laptop with remote desktop setup (allow remote connections to this computer). I remote into the laptop from a PC. I just noticed that when the laptop display is turned off (set to turn off after 10mins), there is delay in keystrokes and mouse movements when the laptop is accessed remotely. Hello,
could you please explain this:
“Starting with Windows 8, mirror drivers will not install on the system. Mirror drivers described in this section will install and run only on earlier versions of Windows.”
(from https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/windows-hardware/drivers/display/mirror-drivers)
Does it mean that our DameWare Mirror driver can’t be used starting with Windows 8?
I’m asking because our clients have faced with slow performance during remote connection for Windows 10 (using DameWare Mini Remote Control application).
Seems that our Mirror driver isn’t used / ignored (but there is no error message).
Then we rebuilt our Mirror driver with:
- Target Platform - Windows 10
- Platform Toolset - WindowsKernelModeDriver10.0
- Templates - Empty DLL for drivers, Kernel Mode driver, Empty (KMDF) (WDK 10.0.14393.0)Whatsapp plus apk download for windows phone.
Previously it was built with 'build -c' from the directory where the DameWare source code resides.
But even if Driver Signature Verification is disabled our new driver has error code 52 - Windows cannot verify the digital signature for the drivers required for this device.
So our driver with this error code isn’t used:

I will be glad to any help and ideas !

I have three brand new Dell XPS towers that I just updated to 1803. Once they did that, all remote viewer clients such as Teamviewer, LogMeIn and Dameware have all become basically unusable. They aren't displaying anything properly, very slow, just awful.
The weird thing is the built-in Windows RDP client works perfect. No issues whatsoever. I found some information about video drivers on the Teamviewer site, but that didn't seem to help any. I was able to roll one of the PCs back to 1709 and the programs work perfectly again.
Has anyone else experienced this and found a fix? I'd prefer to have a 1803 fix as rolling them back will only be a temporary solution.
